Â
 Alan and Kristin have just returned froma sell out tour of New Zealand with the family band in tow as the highly delightful suppport act. Highlights include the Yurt at the Free House in Nelson which was recorded by Radio New Zealand, an impromtu set at the Cloudy Bay Winery in Marlborough, Donovan’s Store in Okarito, and of course the infamous Mussel Inn In Onekaka. This year in August September we plan to head over to Ireland and mainland Europe for a few concerts and lots of sessions. Alan is mixing a new album of indie folk rock songs in collaboration with young ex metal drummer Ty Skinner of Torn Asunder fame.Alan continues his run of solo shows using a looping device, bodhran, Cajon, guitar, a Koscillator synth.
Also Bloodwood studios continues to expand with plenty of exciting new projects, established and emerging artists, availing of Alan’s Noosa based recording studio.
Kristin is back at the helm of the highly sucessful strings program at the Noosa Pengari Steiner school.Â
All other members are mad busy experimenting with lots of exciting musical projects.
Erin Sulman is also drumming for the Lamplights and the infamous Aussie Boogaloo, he is also running the brilliant Laguna Jacks open mic night every Tuesday in Noosa with Andrew Healey and Alex Rothier. Erin also teachess drums adn percussion privately.
Steve Cook continues to work with Tulca Mor and in duo format with Alan. Steve also tours Australian Schools regularly for Musica Viva. And also runs the Maleny Celtic Winter School.
Belinda Ford continues to teach an extensive music program at Villa Nova school in Brisbane, and has a new Brisbane based Celtic trio in the works.
Bassist Gary Ward is involved in many different music ensembles, includng jazz, rock, blues, and folk genres. Gary has been busy writing audio books for children with the second installment of “the Bush Creatures” almost ready to record. There are also plans to re publish his Australian travelogue ”the Various Wards”

Hi to you all,
Just come back from Pt Fairy Folk Festival. What a great festival it is. Have to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing you perform, in fact I went twice and bought your last CD. Enjoyed festival so much have booked accommodation for next year. Hope to see you again soon. I live in a beautiful coastal town called Victor Harbor which is in South Australia.
